Update on the situation.. Basically nothing has changed with me and the laptop, just an FYI about the state of my setup and where the Toshiba is ...


In Kenya I was told it will be very implacable to find the CD because this type is not sold. I have tried online but none. Now I wonder where? The drivers in the computer are already corrupted and its not even detecting the cd drive. Where can I possibly get the Toshiba drivers? Please help

    I want to reset my compaq to a factory settings, clear everything. I did the F10 method at the startup, but it ask for an administrator password when i try to go the c:Windows recovery. I do not know the password, so anyways I go to HP tools - Recovery .. and when i click yes it gives me the bulletin of "recovery partition not found no software is available for reinstallation" ... I don't want to order the disks if I don't have to ... any suggestions?

    My very best view of the Milky Way ever was from a highway rest area in northern Victoria, Australia, equitable out of Echuca.

    Addendum: outside of the cities, Arizona is a whole lot of nothing. You shouldn't have any difficulty finding dark skies.

    Addendum: why not try to gimmick up with some local astronomers, or ask at a local telescope store? In many cities astronomers have dark sky sites that are known to be approachable and safe.

  • I always figured that Arizona had a lot of open space and far from city lights. Find any spot with a clear horizon all around you that's at least 50 miles from the immediate city or town.     I did the search thing for women my age, but all I keep finding are women with half their clothes on, laying on a bed or squatting on the floor...and all I can say is YIKES to some of them, And WOW to the others!

    I am a 41 vintage old mom and grandmother who is looking to add some 'friends' to my 360. So if you have any of these interests, please look me up:

    Music - I Adore Cher, but I really like all kinds of music

  • You could do the search thing and seach for people in your area. That might help get rid of the striper types of people. Lots of folk just use their site for that which is not permitted but yahoo cant keep up with deleting their accounts fast enough.
    Also in the search option you can seach for population who share the same interest as you. That might help too.

    I am a mother of a (almost) 1 year old - course not a grandmother.
    But I love, love Nicholas Sparks and I've read a few books by James Patterson - I liked them too.
    Cher is pretty edible - I like her stuff from the 90's on - sorry I don't know much of her other work. I actually listen to country music a lot.
    Hiking is unenthusiastic. I love to go four-wheeling, but haven't done it since the baby came. (or was even on the way)
    I have a few close friends and a bunch of people that I like to be poised out with every once in a while.
    I work for a company that make calendars - I run an hp Indigo digital press. (I love my job) James Patterson music
